Michael W. Bowser, MTOM, LAc

Michael W. Bowser, LAc is a licensed acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist. He is licensed as an acupuncturist by the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice and the California Acupuncture Board. In addition, he is nationally certified by the National Certification Commission on Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in acupuncture and clean needle technique certification from the Council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

After years of allergies that were unrelieved by medical care and numerous sports injuries, Michael sought out alternative methods of healing.

Michael grew up in Fargo, ND. He completed his bachelor’s of science degree in zoology at North Dakota State University in 1986. After college he studied Asian bodywork at the Acupressure Institute in Berkeley, CA and later at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, CA. He graduated from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine with honors and earned a Master’s degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine.

In addition to his private practice, Michael has served as a Board member for a healthcare clinic and faculty member for both twin cities acupuncture colleges
